Solar Street Lighting Research & Development
R&D is the pillar of MOMA Solar’s in-house approach to providing effective solar powered lights.
MOMA Solar is always looking at sustainable products and processes to improve environmental impacts.
Our Director, Mike Jarvis, has over 25 years’ experience working in the electrical industry on mine sites, at oil & gas facilities and in remote locations which has been invaluable when it comes to understanding Australia’s harsh environment and how our products need to work within it.
We are always listening to our customers, reviewing our products and looking for new technologies to improve and provide alternative solutions to current market offerings.
The main challenges of Solar Lighting
MOMA Solar invests heavily in R&D in order to meet the evolving needs of our customers and to stay at the forefront of the latest innovations in solar street lighting, portable solar lights, solar powered bollards to name a few.
We regularly review & vigorously test all aspects of any proposed new products as well as investigating improvements to existing products.
This process allows us to introduce new technologies to improve product functionality, efficiency and the end-user experience.
R&D can also aid in improving manufacturing efficiencies which can lead to cost savings for the customer, whilst also ensuring that products comply with industry standards and regulations in solar lighting design.
