Solar Conveyor Lights

Customised Solar Conveyor Lighting

MOMA Solar have two luminaire options for Solar Conveyor Lighting, the Performance Series (MOSLR) with bifacial solar panels and the latest tech, or the Durable Series (MOSLX) with four operating modes including Sensor options.

Either of these two luminaire options can be fitted with low level vibration protection to extend the life of the luminaire by reducing the effects of harmonic vibrations to reduce maintenance.

We recommend the use of the Maxis joint pole for ease of access to the luminaire and to minimise the need for “working at heights” and the associated costs. The Maxis joint can be supplied as a pre engineered pole, with a range of mounting options, or retro fitted to an existing pole.

Frequently Asked Questions

MOMA Solar offers detailed lighting designs free of charge to recommend the optimal lighting solution that is compliant to Australian and/or site specific standards. Please contact MOMA with a CAD Drawing of the area (if available) and/or the Google Maps location.

For mine sites it is recommended that a design is supplied to ensure the lighting will be compliant to site specific standards and MOMA Solar Lights can be installed exactly the same as the electric lights, i.e. 9m between lights mounted at 2.4m high or 12m between lights mounted at 2.4m high.

Yes, MOMA Solar’s Performance Series and Durable Series have both been engineered to run all night with multiple days autonomy, even in poor weather conditions.

We can supply poles separately or the luminaires can be mounted to existing poles. For installations on conveyors we strongly recommend the use of Swivelpole™ Maxis Range with High Vibration Pole Tope. The HVPT models feature a unique vibration dampening system that eliminates fatigue and failure of conventional mounting methods. (No idea if the wording / model names for Swivelpole is correct).

There is minimal maintenance required for the Performance Series and Durable Series.

Simply clean the solar panels at least once per year. In high dust environments we recommend at least every 3 months.

We also recommend confirming there are no obstructions (eg tree branches) that will shade the panels and limit charging capabilities.

It is as simple as switching the battery button on and securely screwing the spigot to the pole, there is no wiring required.

The Performance Series and Durable Series both come with adjustable brackets and spigots suitable for mounting on a 60mmOD post top. We can supply a range of spigot adaptors suitable for mounting to various sizes of poles if required.
